We are looking for a
Full-Stack Web Developer with STEM Background
(full or part time and remote)
- Quadraton develops a data management solution for companies and institutes in the sector of research & development. In this area one of the main challenges are the changing requirements for the data structures. Quadraton has developed a new concept for this purpose and is now looking for capable developers who will work with us to transform this concept into a modern web application!
Who exactly we are looking for:
- Individuals with programming experience who have previous experience in science and/or technology. So, for example, you could be a programming scientist or a web developer with work experience in any technology field outside of the IT world.
- For this project, a permanent position with us is a mandatory requirement (ideally full-time), so working as a freelancer is unfortunately not an option.
- We are a remote working team, which means you can work from any location. But ideally within or close to the Central European time zone.
What you ideally bring with you:
- Experience with developing modern web applications, in particular:
- Front-end frameworks such as Vue.js.
- JavaScript-based backends using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.
- Knowledge of document-oriented databases such as MongoDB.
- Knowledge with version control systems such as Git and project management systems such as Jira.
Helpful additional qualifications:
- Experience with automated testing and test-driven development.
- Experience with container solutions like Docker.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python.
- Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum, Kanban etc.
